What is The Twin Cities Flower Exchange (TCFE)?
The Exchange is an all-local, chemical-free wholesale cut flower market, operated by Christine Hoffman of Foxglove. We carry cut flowers and flora from 21 small flower farms in Minnesota and Wisconsin. The Exchange supplies wholesale flowers and flora to professionals for use in their business.
How do I become a buyer?
To shop The Exchange, you must complete a buyer’s pass application, meet the qualifications, and be approved as a buyer. A valid state tax ID or business license must be submitted. The fee for a yearly pass, valid 12 months from the date of purchase, is 65.00.
Can I pre-order product?
Availability sheets are sent out weekly, and buyer’s pass holders are encouraged to place pre-orders. For high demand items (peonies, dahlias etc), we recommend placing orders 2-3 weeks in advance of the pick-up date. Include each item, variety or color, stem quantity, and appropriate substitutions. Once an order is received, we will send a price estimate and place the order with our farmers. Once an order is placed, the buyer will be financially responsible for the order, and substitution from other farmers at time of pick-up is not allowed.
Where, when, and how do I shop?
The Exchange is open every Wednesday from 7 am to 3 pm. We are located at The Good Acre, 1790 Larpenteur Ave W, Falcon Heights MN. Parking is available in The Good Acre lot, and entrance is through the east warehouse door. Please bring your own buckets for transporting your product in water. If you do not have buckets, we will wrap your purchases.
What if I’m unhappy with a product?
We absolutely stand by the quality of our product! Buyers are responsible for proper care of product once purchased, but if there is a quality issue, the product may be refunded within 24 hours of purchase. Please email credit requests to firstname.lastname@example.org , and include pictures and a detailed explanation of the quality issue.
